For chapter 8, you will not have a writing activity, however, I would like you to make a comment on this post after pondering this situation:
Choose your “dream team” for the camp capture-the-flag game. Since you have already read the chapter, pretend you are Annabeth, the leader of Athena’s cabin. You will be fighting the Ares cabin. Using what you know about the gods, make a list of your top picks for the other cabins you’d like to have on your side. Rank them from first to last. Place your list as a comment to this post discuss why you ranked them the way you did, and be prepared to explain to the class.

1. Poseidon Because he can just go into water and he will be better.
2.Hermes Because they have a lot of people and because the could steal things for me.

Ok so I would pick Poseidon so he can make them drown, and Apollo so he can make them dance, and Zues so he can throw lightning bolts at them, and Hephaestus so he can turn them to ashes, and Hera so she could make them get married, and DIONYSUS so he can get them destracted while we capture the flag and that s my team.

Apollo would be good Because if at least million of people get hurt she could heal them I wish she was my sister.

Demeter she could grow stuff and make people trip on it and we could also have fruits and vegtebels and throw it at them.
I would also choose Artemis I would tell them to use there arrows to kill or just hurt them.
That is pretty much who I would choose they are pretty cool. :)
My dream team will be Zues,Poseidon,and Hades they are the big there and there good at fighting and zues can throw lightning bolts Poseidon can drown them and Hades can drag them to the undearworld

1st Hera-was the goddess of marriage. hera was married to Zeus & Queen of the Olympians.

3rd ATHENA- She Was the one who came up with plans and things for the capture the flag and always had new ideas for almost everything she did.
4th Poseidon- he was the god of the sea and ocean and he could do anything with water and it's really cool how he could do that.
